As believers, we are God’s children. A child of God will reflect His character. Each week, we focus on one scripture while highlighting a declaration (Who God is) and affirmation (Who we are as believers).
This week’s scripture is:
Then the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom.
Mark 15:38 CSB
Declaration
God is accessible.

Affirmation
I am privileged to enter into the presence of God because of Jesus Christ.
As we continue to reflect on Jesus’ birth this Advent season, we become more aware of his sacrifice. Jesus’ ministry on earth was divinely appointed so that we could access our father in heaven. As the “busy”-ness of the holidays rush in, let’s not forget to be intentional about making room… In our schedule. In our hearts. In our minds. In our homes. May we never take our privilege to enter into the presence of the Lord for granted.
A Prayer Starter…
Heavenly Father, Your grace and mercy know no bounds. I am forever grateful for the sacrifice and tearing the veil so that I may enter into your presence. Lord, it is a gift that I will not take for granted. As the seasons transition, help me to continually make room for you… Amen.
