As believers, we are God’s children. A child of God will reflect His character. Each week, we focus on one scripture while highlighting a declaration (Who God is) and affirmation (Who we are as believers).
This week’s scripture is:
In the dream God responded, “Yes, I know you are innocent. That’s why I kept you from sinning against me, and why I did not let you touch her.
Genesis 20:6 NLT
Declaration
God knows.

Affirmation
I am known and seen by God.
King Abimelech and his people didn’t appear to live in reverence to the true and living God. Therefore, Abraham decided to tell them Sarah was his sister out of fear for his life. His deception resulted in Sarah being taken as a bride by King Abimelech. Now before Abimelech touched Sarah, he had a dream where God informs him that Sarah is married and confirms his innocence. Let this passage remind you that God knows all AND He can use anyone to accomplish His will, even non-believers.
A Prayer Starter…
Heavenly Father, You know and see everything. Even when those around me are oblivious, You see me, the real me. Lord, search my heart and fill it with Your truth… In Jesus’ name. Amen.
