In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me.

Jeremiah 29:12‭-‬13 NLT

Getting into the presence of the Lord is not an unobtainable task. He is always available to his children. Jeremiah says when you pray, the Lord listens. When you seek Him, He can be found. When it seems like the Lord isn’t present, you need to look at two things, your posture and position. Are you in a posture of sincere prayer? Are you in a position to actively search for the Lord?

God is not a moving target.

Today, I want to encourage you to spend time in the presence of the Lord. He’s never moved, but you may have. Ask the Lord to examine your heart for distractions from pursuing Him. Assume a posture of reverence and prayer regularly. Make moves that demonstrate active pursuit of finding God. When you sincerely look, He will be there.

The Lord’s Prayer 11 Now Jesus was praying in a certain place, and when he finished, one of his disciples said to him, “Lord, teach us to pray, as John taught his disciples.” 2 And he said to them, “When you pray, say: “Father, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come. 3 Give us each day our daily bread, 4 and forgive us our sins, for we ourselves forgive everyone
