8 And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool [afternoon breeze] of the day, so the man and his wife hid and kept themselves hidden from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden. 9 But the Lord God called to Adam, and said to him, “Where are you?” 10 He said, “I heard the sound of You [walking] in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid myself.” 11 God said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten [fruit] from the tree of which I commanded you not to eat?”
Genesis 3:8-11 AMP
If you want to get somewhere, there’s two things you have to know; the destination and the starting point. As Christians, the destination is clear. And most of you can recall where you started your journey with Christ. But if I asked you, where are you right now on your journey to eternity, How would you respond?
God knows your location.
Today, I want to encourage you to know where you are! Assessing where you are in life is a bit more challenging than following directions on a GPS. But God knows where you started, where you are, and where you’re going. When you stay close to God, He will let you know where you truly are. Always remember, if you’ve drifted off course, the Lord will get you back on track if you listen to His directions.
