The Lord says, “I will rescue those who love me.
I will protect those who trust in my name.
When they call on me, I will answer;
I will be with them in trouble.
I will rescue and honor them.
I will reward them with a long life
and give them my salvation.”
Psalms 91:14-16 NLT
Fear is disorienting. It can paralyze us or cause hesitation. Sometimes it robs us of our confidence. There are times when fear delays our actions to do God’s will. Fear isolates us from our source of security. It creates divides from the truth that we have access to power and security through Jesus Christ.
God is our safety.
Today, I want to encourage you to remember the promise! When you are afraid, remember who is on your side. Call to mind God’s truth. The truth of God’s word quiets fear. Psalm 91 is a great reminder that God answers and rescues. He is present and will bless us in ways that only He can. The next time you experience fear, call on God’s name and stand confidently in His word. Don’t allow fear to delay walking forth in God’s will for your life.
