And the Lord said, “Hear what the unrighteous judge says. 7 And will not God give justice to his elect, who cry to him day and night? Will he delay long over them? 8 I tell you, he will give justice to them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?”
Luke 18: 6-8 ESV
When you’re ignored, how do you respond? Do you try once or twice and give up? Or do you persist and keep trying until you’re heard? Does it depend on what you’re trying to communicate? What about your prayers to God? Do you feel ignored?
God hears our cries.
Today, I want to encourage you to be persistent! God is aware of your cries and He will act when the time is right. The key is to stay persistent like the widow in Luke 18. Keep going back until you get a response. Allow your heart to stay in expectation and remain faithful for God’s reply. He still speaks.
