As believers, we are God’s children. A child of God will reflect His character. Each week, we focus on one scripture while highlighting a declaration (Who God is) and affirmation (Who we are as believers).
This week’s scripture is:
Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, “I had a dream last night, and no one here can tell me what it means. But I have heard that when you hear about a dream you can interpret it.”
16 “It is beyond my power to do this,” Joseph replied. “But God can tell you what it means and set you at ease.”
Genesis 41:15-16 NLT
Declaration
God is all-powerful.

Affirmation
I am empowered by God to do works beyond my natural capabilities.
Staring at mountains, literally or figuratively, puts your limitations into perspective. It’s hard to figure out how to tackle the situation if you go at it alone. But with God, those mountains can move. With God, you can receive empowerment to do things well beyond your natural capabilities. The key is to know who it comes from and acknowledge Him in all your actions.
A Prayer Starter…
Heavenly Father, You are the all-powerful, Lord Almighty. You empower your children to do great works in your name. May I always remember that it is through you that I am able to live, move, and have my being. Lord, I will continue to acknowledge you in all of my ways and bring you glory. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
