“Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing. 6 Anyone who does not remain in me is thrown away like a useless branch and withers. Such branches are gathered into a pile to be burned.
John 15:5-6 NLT
Everyone has experienced some form of loss since the beginning of the pandemic. From loss of loved ones, illness, and normal routines, we have all had to say goodbye to something. Living through the uncertainty of life can have impacts on our minds and souls, if we let it. But instead of being tossed around by the inconsistencies of this world, we have a choice.
God calls us to be rooted in His presence.
Today, I want to encourage you to remain connected! We have a choice to find our security in God. As we stay connected to the source, we find ourselves unshaken by the losses of this world. When we root ourselves in His presence, we build a relationship based in truth and grace. Over time, our connection deepens and causes us to bear fruit. Fruitfulness is visible proof of remaining in Him.
Reflect – What areas of your life are unfruitful? Are they areas that are disconnected from the Lord?
