As believers, we are God’s children. A child of God will reflect His character. Each week, we focus on one scripture while highlighting a declaration (Who God is) and affirmation (Who we are as believers).
This week’s scripture is:
Mary responded, “Oh, how my soul praises the Lord. How my spirit rejoices in God my Savior! For he took notice of his lowly servant girl, and from now on all generations will call me blessed. For the Mighty One is holy, and he has done great things for me. He shows mercy from generation to generation to all who fear him. His mighty arm has done tremendous things! He has scattered the proud and haughty ones. He has brought down princes from their thrones and exalted the humble. He has filled the hungry with good things and sent the rich away with empty hands. He has helped his servant Israel and remembered to be merciful. For he made this promise to our ancestors, to Abraham and his children forever.”
Luke 1:46-55 NLT
Declaration
God notices me.

Affirmation
I am seen by God.
The world can make you feel insignificant. Just think, there are billions of people in the world. And yet, God knows them all. He sits high and sees everything. He knows the righteous as well as the unrighteous. There is no place that anyone can go that God is not aware of. He notices each and every one of us.
A Prayer Starter…
Heavenly Father, You know all. You notice it all. You see me. You know me better than I know myself. Lord, I am grateful that you see the real me. Help me to find my security and value in you and not the world… In Jesus’ name. Amen.
