Is my life built firmly upon the cornerstone?

A Prayer

Heavenly Father, Thank You for sending Jesus Christ for our redemption. Thank You Jesus for setting an example of how to live firmed rooted in the rock of salvation. Thank You that we no longer have to be tossed by the troubles of this life or struggling in the sinking sand of sin. May we always remember that the cornerstone is our only firm foundation. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

Advent Reflections – Even in the Waiting – Day 2

In this passage, we find Jesus as a child, so focused on His Father’s business that he wanders off from his parents. In my own life, I’ve found that I’m not prone to wander towards my father’s business….but away from it.
