As believers, we are God’s children. A child of God will reflect His character. Each week, we focus on one scripture while highlighting a declaration (Who God is) and affirmation (Who we are as believers).

Affirmation
I remember the greatness of God.
When things happen in our lives, it is really easy to look at what’s going on around us, but doing that skews our perception. I believe that is why God is constantly reminding us to remember. God is intentional in reorienting us to the truth. When we take time to slow down; remember, reflect, and meditate, we see God’s mighty hand. If God is the same yesterday, today, and forever more, then right now, at this moment, we can surrender to His will and His way, knowing He has the power to bring us through our trials just like He brought us through before.
A Prayer Starter…
Heavenly Father, You are great. There is no one like You. Thank You for opportunities to slow down and reflect on who You are. Father, when the trials of life come like a flood, help us to remember all the ways You’ve kept us in the past. May we never lose sight of the miracles, signs, and wonders happening all around us… In Jesus’ name. Amen.
