November Revival – Revive My Worth

Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? And not one of them is forgotten before God. Why, even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not; you are of more value than many sparrows.

November Revival – Revive My Perspective

We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure. This makes it clear that our great power is from God, not from ourselves. We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair. We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed. Through suffering, our bodies continue to share in the death of Jesus so that the life of Jesus may also be seen in our bodies.

Weekly Meditation – Genesis 45:25-28

God’s word provides clear instruction to His children. As we meditate on His Word, we find exactly what we need to continue our journey through this life. This week, our passage for meditation is Genesis 45:25-28. On a Personal Note – Being Seen…

God sees us all. But for those that do evil He sets His face against them, such that the mere memory of them is forgotten. Their lives will be filled with affliction. Yet for the righteous, God hears their cries. He delivers them from their troubles. He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those crushed in spirit. He redeems and provides refuge from condemnation.

Why Questions are Important

Asking the Bible questions is one way that we can learn more about God’s kingdom. God doesn’t withhold wisdom from His children that seek Him earnestly. As we posture ourselves with childlike trust and dependence on God, we position ourselves for powerful downloads of God’s wisdom. Our spiritual maturity depends on our ability to approach our study time in expectation that the Lord will answer.

Deeper Roots – Genesis 45:1-15

When the tables turn, what do you have a tendency to do; intact revenge or extend forgiveness? It’s in our human nature to seek revenge. We see the evil things done to us and want to return the favor. It takes a spiritually mature person to see the hand of God in the middle of hard seasons and withhold the urge for payback. Yet Joseph demonstrates that whenever those opportunities present themself, we should seek to demonstrate compassion, not cruelty.

Encouragement for Today

Today, I want to encourage you to embrace being whole! The Word of God says that Jesus Christ stood in the gap for our sinful rebellion. He sacrificed his life in obedience to our Heavenly Father in order to see us whole, healed, and free from sin. That means all you have to do is walk in it. Walk in your freedom today. Experience His healing power today. Embrace your wholeness today.
