When we see a situation that has the potential to harm others and we have wisdom that will help, it’s our responsibility to stir the pot.
It is possible to be blessed and buried. But it’s what you do during the burying that determines whether you die or flourish.
Jesus knew that we would encounter corrupt people, but He didn’t leave us unequipped. In Matthew 7, Jesus teaches us to be discerning by examining fruit. Healthy people, like healthy trees, bear good fruit. Likewise, diseased trees, like corrupt people, bear bad fruit and will eventually receive divine judgment.
We need to be able to act with confidence to solve the problem. We understand that what you repeat in times of calm, you will repeat in times of chaos. And that same principle applies to our spiritual lives.
In the age of blended families, it’s pretty usual to see these phrases tossed around. It’s part of today’s culture to add labels. These qualifiers may be common to us, but in studying Romans 8, I’ve found that there are no steps and bonuses in the Kingdom.
