As believers, we are God’s children. A child of God will reflect His character. Each week, we focus on one scripture while highlighting a declaration (Who God is) and affirmation (Who we are as believers).
This week’s scripture is:
When Joseph saw them the next morning, he noticed that they both looked upset. 7 “Why do you look so worried today?” he asked them.
8 And they replied, “We both had dreams last night, but no one can tell us what they mean.”
“Interpreting dreams is God’s business,” Joseph replied. “Go ahead and tell me your dreams.”
Genesis 40:6-8 NLT
Declaration
God’s acts are distinct.

Affirmation
I will partner with God.
When God acts, it is distinct. The Lord’s moves are clearly distinguishable by His children. The key to recognizing a move of God is familiarity. If someone is familiar with the character of God, they can discern when they are walking through a true move of God. They can discern when God is using them as a vessel to impact an environment. They recognize that they are in a situation that requires partnership with God instead of trying to move in their own strength.
A Prayer Starter…
Heavenly Father, You are so special to me. You move in ways that are distinct and holy. I want to be even more aware of You and how You are moving all around me. Lord, help me to discern a God moment and empower me to keep my flesh in submission to Your will… In Jesus’ name. Amen.
